About Me
Creating Music People Want to Listen to and Share
Andrew first came to the attention of the listening public in 2018 with the release of his debut album, ‘Reflections From An Airport.’ This was an eclectic mix of genres but routed in the story telling of modern folk.
His musical journey began in 2009 singing in the folk clubs of London and South West England both as a solo artist and as half of the duet ‘Best of Both.’ Encouraged by many of the people he met in the clubs, he began to write his own songs in 2016. This soon became a passion and led to the release of his first album.
In 2017 he moved permanently to Scotland and decided to develop his craft by taking a Diploma in Sound Production at Motherwell’s Foundry Music Lab. This ultimately led him to embarking on a Masters Degree in Music at the University of West of Scotland.
The last few years have been very busy for Andrew. In addition to performing and studying he has written and released three solo albums, he joined the band ‘The Undecided Brew’, as their lead singer and with whom he also released an album.
He is now actively working on his fourth album which is a be blend of new songs and well-known folk songs. This album was in part recorded on the Isle of Barra in the Western Isles. Andrew regards Barra as a place of inspiration and renewal. Recordings were interrupted by Covid19. The album is nearing completion and will be released late 2024.
